VOLUNTEER

My family and I started volunteering with Bill’s Blankets a few years ago. We were fairly new to Knoxville and wanted to get involved in our community by finding a way to give back. What I thought would be a one-time thing for us, turned into numerous volunteer opportunities that have had a lasting effect on all of us. We love being involved with such a wonderful organization. Bill’s Blankets truly cares about the homeless population. My family and I enjoy helping to distribute much-needed items to those in need. It warms our hearts to be able to pray with and interact with the people we meet while volunteering. They are always so thankful to receive food, toiletries, and even a hug and a smile from us. We always leave these volunteer opportunities excited about the next one and feeling blessed to have had a chance to make a difference in our community.

And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
